Quinns Hoylake had three displays in March, the first two displays were for Mother’s Day and World Down’s Syndrome Awareness Week.
Celebrated from the 15th to the 21st March every year World Down’s Syndrome Awareness Week is a global event based on raising awareness for people living with Down’s Syndrome.
The theme of the display was ‘Rock Your Socks’. The odd socks campaign by MENCAP was conceived as the 3 strands of Chromosome 21 just happen to look like socks.
On March 23, the nation took time to connect, supporting the millions of people who are grieving, and remembering the family, friends, neighbours and colleagues we’ve lost over the last two years for the now annual, National Day of Reflection with Marie Curie.
